I never thought I'd be writing about John Farnham... ever. But just yesterday an American friend of mine told me about this amazing movie soundtrack that had all of these inspirational 80s rock songs in it... I was curious. He tells me about this movie called RAD, an against-the-odds story about a young paperboy that takes on the best BMX riders in his city (think BMX Bandits crossed with The Karate Kid) starring Lori Loughlin (that hottie Becky from Full House). It turned out that all the songs my friend was talking about were by our very own Whispering Jack! Somehow in 1986, just before releasing his mega-hit 'You're The Voice' Johnny had a little bit of time on his hands to rock the shit out of this soundtrack to a little-known teen film.
